If you qualify as an eHomeTour videographer, we will provide you with our required equipment package information, it currently sells for about $5,500.

Q } How do I get started?

A } We have a very well defined methodology for producing our eHomeTours. Your first step is to view our sample tours, then send in a sample tape. We will provide you with a training DVD and, if you desire, you can come to our offices in Los Angeles and we will provide you with one-on-one training. Q } What are the steps to creating an eHomeTour?

Sales- Obviously, a tour can not be created until someone approaches an agent and sells the idea. Luckily, the product generally sells itself. Your ability to explain the technology and its benefits will have a direct affect on your success as a sales person. Additionally, depending on the area you live in, we have corporate level relationships and access to more than 60,000 agents nationally.
Videography- Once an agent agrees to purchase a video tour, a time needs to be scheduled to film the home. As an eHomeTour videographer, you need to show up on time and work expeditiously. You should be able to capture all of the necessary footage to create an eHomeTour in about 30 minutes
Editing- Once captured, the tape and all required paperwork needs to be Federal Expressed to our office. We will take care of the rest.

Q } What am I responsible for?

A } As an eHomeTour provider, you will be responsible for sales, videography, and sending us completed packets.

Q } How do I make money?

A } As an eHomeTour provider, you will be paid $75 for a basic tour from one of our corporate clients. If you generate an order from an agent outside our network, you will be paid $75 for a basic tour, $125 for a narrated tour. Additionally, if you sell the agent still photography, you will earn an additional $75. We have found that most of our clients request that we provide still photography and our video tours. Basic tour - no still photography - our agent connection : $75
Basic tour - still photography - our agent connection : $150
Narrated tour - still photography - your agent contact : $200

Many videographers initially try to function as both a salesperson and a videographer to cut costs. If you fall into this category, don't be surprised if you find that you do not have time to do both jobs. Don't be afraid to hire a sales person, or additionally videographers early on.

Remember, the tape format should be mini-DV, and preferably high definition. The footage should be an unedited video tour of a home.
